Imagine this; it’s the end of your work day, you get into your car, which almost 100k miles on and few years old, the weather is hot, and you get stuck, in traffic. Fifteen minutes later, you only made it 3 miles far from where you started and suddenly, the BAD thing starts happening. Well, you look at your dashboard panel and you notice that the temperature gage is getting close to the ‘red zone’. Soon the temperature is getting higher and higher. So, what do you do?First of all, pull over to the side of the road but DO NOT turn the car off, keep it running. Yes, keep it running and get out and check under the car to see if you see any water leakage, if you do. Then turn the car off, open the hood slowly and see where the water is coming from. Is it a hose that is punctured, or is it from the side or under the engine? If it’s a hose, this is a simple fix. If it’s the other, this is an expensive fix because your water pump just went off. If you see no leakage under the car, go back and start your air condition at low. This should get the temperature down really fast. And should get you far enough to any close mechanic.
